It never rains... Part II
Oct. 31st, 2011 01:36 amI may have mentioned a week or so ago that we might be needing a bigger boat....
We've been in London for a week, I'm at Heathrow at the moment trying to gather my thoughts. The goal of the trip was to take part in a Developer Contest for the launch of the new range of Nokia Windows Phone. LONG story short, we came second and won a 15K EUR prize with another 7K when the apps go live. Nokia now want us to take the App to Market - that's going to be an even longer story I can't go into here... but if it all comes off then we're going to be doing a public launch with Nokia at SXSW next year.
Anyway, we also appear to have won most of the projects/customers we had proposals out for in the last few months, which means I suddenly have to find more people to do the work too.
It's all happening a tad too fast, but it's certainly fun.
