Ouch... why do airlines do this...
Oct. 11th, 2011 11:33 amJust landed in San Diego.
Part of the pain I'm in stems from being a little too vigorous in the gym last night with a hip injury. The rest comes from the occupant of the middle seat. Now, I am a person of some size, both height and girth. The girth I really do spend quite a lot of time trying to moderate. The guy in the seat next to me on the flight down, apparently does not.
Firstly, if you have to hold your breath and strain the seat belt to get it on, then there's potentially a problem. Secondly, when the arm rest can't go down over your legs, there's another problem.
I spent the flight at an angle into the aisle. Not fun. Putting him in the middle seat was cruel and unusual, putting him next to me, was just evil.
