Ugh, two steps forward, multiple back
Sep. 10th, 2010 12:13 pmWe thought we'd cracked the app acceptance problem yesterday but it turned out that we hadn't - or rather they finally accepted the app yesterday and then today rejected it for reasons that... well... charitably, I think we can call mis-reading a screen which says "User Unknown - Try Again" as a bug in the log in script as a test failure.
Likewise, if we set up a properly provisioned test account which has standard User Data in it rather than blank fields, it would be nice if they used rather than creating a new "blank" account which doesn't contain any user data.
And, while I'm on it, why yes, we did design the app to quit to the main menu if the log in process fails so you can start again, because that's how your Web Form Control API kinda works.
So, another weekend of headaches while we try to figure out the problem.
To make the day even more fun, I got an Overdraft "protection" alert through, which didn't make a damn bit of sense - until I got on line today and checked the bank account to find that the Pet Insurance had been taken as a 1 off annual premium rather than the monthly we'd changed it to. And, funny thing, I didn't plan to have that $750 in the checking account. And ANOTHER funny thing, we'd actually changed to a plan with a higher deductible, so it should have been $490... apparently they are sure we'll have the money back in the account by Monday.
