Ugh, two steps forward, multiple back

We thought we'd cracked the app acceptance problem yesterday but it turned out that we hadn't - or rather they finally accepted the app yesterday and then today rejected it for reasons that... well... charitably, I think we can call mis-reading a screen which says "User Unknown - Try Again" as a bug in the log in script as a test failure.
Likewise, if we set up a properly provisioned test account which has standard User Data in it rather than blank fields, it would be nice if they used rather than creating a new "blank" account which doesn't contain any user data.
And, while I'm on it, why yes, we did design the app to quit to the main menu if the log in process fails so you can start again, because that's how your Web Form Control API kinda works.
So, another weekend of headaches while we try to figure out the problem.
To make the day even more fun, I got an Overdraft "protection" alert through, which didn't make a damn bit of sense - until I got on line today and checked the bank account to find that the Pet Insurance had been taken as a 1 off annual premium rather than the monthly we'd changed it to. And, funny thing, I didn't plan to have that $750 in the checking account. And ANOTHER funny thing, we'd actually changed to a plan with a higher deductible, so it should have been $490... apparently they are sure we'll have the money back in the account by Monday.

Date: 2010-09-10 08:45 pm (UTC)We're out at the Rodeo and the County Fair at Puyallup tomorrow all day and have an evening scheduled with a moderately excessive amount of meat. However, we should probably try to do brunch on Sunday. We have a Vegan Cafe near by if we can work out the logistics involved in getting you out of the crawling horror that is Bellevue.

Date: 2010-09-10 09:10 pm (UTC)mmmm brunch. Should be OK - the internet says there are buses that go across 520 (and everyone says you wake up at 4am anyway). God bless the internet. I remember the days before the internet... we rang up the police station (*) in Bruges and tried to book a double room...
(*) wrong number... but when they were wittering on about "police" we thought it was some sort of strange foreigner-registration scheme until they got someone on the line who spoke better English than we did Dutch...
Have fun at the rodeo... and remember, ketchup is a vegetable :D

Date: 2010-09-11 04:02 pm (UTC)The 545 gets you down town, there's actually a few others if you don't mind a change, but we can probably rescue you from the Westlake Center.

Date: 2010-09-12 07:15 am (UTC)We're suggesting we aim to meet around here at 10.30am - I'd suggest changing to the 43 and getting off at the Safeway at 15th Ave E and John St. That's only a mile from here and about 1.5 miles from Flora, I can drive.
You can reach me on Two Zero Six, Nine Seven Two, One One Four Zero... just incase anything scrapes this.
