So, back to the vet today for a quick review of the split and bandage. All looking good, apparently. She's not licking the bandage which means we can skip the Cone of Shame. Lots of fussing over her today, and she was her usual, wiggly, excited self.
Still, she has completely mucked up her summer and there's nothing we can do about that.
In terms of summer, things are up and down with the business - oscillating between horror (if we win this we're screwed) to terror (if we don't win anything we're screwed) - anyway, it's been a day of some progress so far so that's good.
We're also in the mess of trying to plan a vacation. We went to a villa in Mexico 2 years ago and want to repeat this. It turned out to be one of the nicest holidays we've ever had - sadly the place we rented is now off the market and we're struggling to find somewhere as good. Anyway, we're slowly getting there, but it could be easier.
