Life Update
Feb. 3rd, 2008 02:17 pmHad people round to play Poker last night. A good crowd, you can have a good tournament style game with 7 people.
Sadly, despite playing reasonably good, tight Poker, with only a couple of truly dumb decisions, I still lost all 3 games. It's frustrating to have poor hands and be forced through your stack position to play more recklessly than you would like. Even then, having gone "all in" to stay in the game, I lost two games purely on River cards that swung in favour of the other player.
Never mind. It was a good session and we'll be sure to repeat it.
Apart from that, had a short trip to Mountain View to meet with a reasonably famous search company who are moving into our business space, and then down to San Diego to meet a silicon/radio vendor who do a lot in the mobile sector. Mostly this was focused around arranging meetings for Barcelona the week after next.
I'll be in the UK the weekend of Feb 16th - anybody fancy drinks/food up town?
