Bid News and Travel Update...
May. 29th, 2006 05:56 pmSo, as of this afternoon all remaining business issues are closed and we have an agreed contract format. Looks like we should be able to sign this week and then, I can probably tell you what I've been whittering on about for months. Don't get excited. Unless you work in the phone industry, the news will be relatively underwhelming!
With this in place I can start to work out the next few months of travel.
This week; I might be in Nuremberg - although to be honest I doubt it now. I will be at the Tun on Thursday, which will be, I think the first one I've managed this year. Could somebody tell me where it actually is?
I'm back in Bath on Friday for a project kick off party at Bath Races. There's an ABBA tribute band apparently. Saturday, I'll be back in Ealing - I haven't made any plans for Saturday yet, but I will be young, free and single... well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad.
Next week; June 7th I'm in Lund for the day - I'll probably arrange to fly to NYC on Thursday to meet up with M and then spend a week in Seattle. Then back around the 19th.
Then around the last week in June I'll probably have to do the Round The World trip I've been putting off. Taiwan, Korea, Japan and the US.

West Wing Sillyness
May. 29th, 2006 06:38 pmI'm watching last night's The West Wing... The basic plot is that there has been an accident at a US Nuclear Power Plant.
I am getting really really annoyed at the level of mis-information about Nuclear Power that is being put across by whoever wrote this. They seem to know nothing about Nuclear Power, safety processes and anything else.
Very very poor.
