Bustle, bustle...
For much of the last couple of years our office has resembled something of a ghost town. Either because we had everybody on customer site, or we didn't actually have many people.
With the recent rush of customers we are ramping up here. We're hiring new people, we have a team of 6 from a partner arriving and we also have 5-6 coming from other parts of the group to work with us. This is making the office suddenly busy again, which after a year of 5 or 6 people around is rather strange. We've also got a small team over from Japan working with us on a customer project.
Equally strange is the sudden ramp up in IT equipment. We've had 12 machines delivered this week and there's more to come.
It's a strange feeling to watch all of this happen and know that as the salesperson it's largely down to you.
Even more strange is that I won't be in this office much longer. We've almost settled on the move date, probably around the weekend after next. So, this weekend we'll be mostly packing. I'm also planning on taking down a car load to London on Tuesday so we can, at least, start moving some stuff in.
