So we've done probably 70% of the actual packing, but we ran out of time, patience and boxes. Bubble Wrap also ran out early leading to an argument along the lines of, "how much did you get?"
Me: Ten Metres
M: And you thought that would be enough???
Me: I didn't realise you intended to wrap the house itself...

That little issue resolved and we are getting the movers in to do the rest.

They have a window tomorrow. So it looks like they'll be packing the house up tomorrow and we'll be moving on the 10th... Gosh. It's all happened faster than I expected.

Now, I have to sort out the remainer of labelling of the house, get keys to the movers, get the storage agreed and then figure out what we need to pay tomorrow to complete and how the hell I get the keys.

So, suddenly, I have to plan on not spending another night in our Bath house - which is a couple of weeks ahead of schedule...

I had promised M a Sunday Lunch in one of the nice restaurants near here, so I'll have to arrange for us to come back as tourists but that should be a nice weekend away.

I've also had to switch delivery addresses for some stuff that is coming to Bath rather than to the new flat. This includes my Media Centre PC - which will have to be delivered to the flat rather than to the office.

I'll take a car load of stuff with me tomorrow, so at least some of the moving can be done. It also neatly solves the problem of the household insurance running out next week on the place in Bath.

So, slowly I am getting everything into position for somebody else to pack for us. I'm a little nervous about having this done while both of us are out, but all the valuables will be in the car with me.

I've got the kitchen done and ready, the utility room is ready, as is under the stairs.

I've got a bit of packing in the lounge to do but the bedroom is looming where I have to basically pack all my clothing into a suitcase so I can get ready for the next 2 weeks away. *sigh*

Still, it will be good to have it done. I will be having a medicinal drink shortly.
