And so it is Christmas...
Dec. 19th, 2005 10:54 amFinished my business in Frankfurt and now have a few hours to kill before I fly back. It's started snowing which is a big worrying. Anyway, I have coffee, WiFi and power. Tomorrow is a customer workshop in Winchester, then Bath on Wednesday, Thursday afternoon I've a meeting with my line manager in Winchester.
Apparently he has good news for me. This is money related good news which I look forward to getting. It should be the final bit of cash to cover the flat purchase which, otherwise, would have ended up on a credit card. He admitted to me over the phone that I'm in a strong position to whinge loudly about my package at the moment. This I knew but it's nice to know that other people have recognised this.
Thursday night I will be at the Christmas Ton. Friday I have the day off, although a bunch of us are meeting up in the city for pre-Christmas drinking and merry making. Hopefully I will have shaken off my "Bah Humbug" feeling by then.
Anyway, it's a wind down week before things shift up a gear again in Jan.
Currently it looks like I'm going to be in Seattle in the first week of 06, then Japan and Korean in Wk2/3 - I must just sit back and think of the air miles.
