House Update
Dec. 21st, 2005 10:38 amSurvey occured on Tuesday: Nothing serious, a bit of damp due to old gutters which the surveyor recommended we ask for a small cost reduction on. He saw nothing to stop the loan. But he did notice something "odd" about the plumbing in the loft which he will flag to the conveyancing solicitor. It would appear that the plumbing in the loft is entirely for the downstairs flat - which could be problematic.
Lawyers have cashed their cheque to start.
I also got my online credit report and have found the culprit for the problem with Bristol and West. A disputed payment with AmEx 2 years ago+ appears to be showing as a missed payment of 2 months. I can write to them and get that cleared. Interestingly, that agency shows the credit check from B&W but not the one from IF, nor does it have any of my bank details or bank related credit cards - only Amex and an old second card I had. All quite interesting.
Anyway, got the account details through from IF too and confirmation that the paperwork was ok.
So, West London here we come.
