My new laptop doesn't have a docking station, so I've had to plug it into a keyboard and monitor, however, it does quite like supporting 2 monitors, so I've got 2 screens now.

Whee... This is fun.

Not sure what you mean. I've the monitor and laptop on the desk and different things on different screens and I've been happily swapping apps between windows. Quite good for comparing word docs.

In a double screen, the two screens are logically a single screen. If you move a window on the left-hand monitor to the right, it will reappear on the right-hand monitor. Is this what you have?

... which isn't to say that "double screen" isn't the right term ... just that I've never heard it before ... and I've a friend who's got a six-screen "double screen" so that sounds like a really weird way of describing it!
