Mars or Bust...

I've been following this story about Tesla Cars for a while.I'm highly dubious about this.  They misrepresent why they lost their case against Top Gear, and then they pull out a bunch of graphs plotted from internal datasets which, frankly, can't be really mapped or checked by a third party easily.  Finally, they make a comment about the driver 'driving passed' charging stations which implies that charging stations are like gas stations.
They are not.
I understand that Elon Musk is miffed about the poor publicity, but he does have form for lying to the public and to investors and while I'm not 100% sure they're lying here, but I suspect they're stretching the truth.
Tesla cars are the state of the art, but let's not pretend that the art is up to much yet.

I suspect very strongly that Elon Musk is either going to retire on Mars, or in prison, or on Mars because he's hiding from the feds. :)
