Restoring some karmic balance...

I have been delivering some short shrift to idiots recently.  If you're looking at this you know who you are.  Oink.

Anyway, to restore karmic balance I was nice to a salesperson on an unsolicited telesales call today.  She had an obvious cold, she was doing a stunningly thankless task I generally wouldn't wish on my worst enemy(*), and she did it reasonably well.  So I let her do the speil, asked some appropriate questions and then thanked her and said no.

Hopefully she will not feel too bad about carrying on with more of the calls, that her system is already delivering into her ear.

(*) - I am led to believe that Jordan Bassior is in telesales - in which case Karma is a bitch.

You are a saint. Unsolicited telesales calls are not something I appreciate. At best I will say no thank you, at worst I'll string them along and waster their time.
