We had to use fax to book one set of accomodation in Japan. I confess to using a free trial of an email to fax service... took quite a while...

They seem to have agreed they can accept a PDF of the entire contract, which is odd given that only 1 page of the 5 is actually contract...

My mum turned 70 this year. I bought her annual membership of Kew.

Kew have a website, but to buy annual memberships you need to download a PDF, print it out, fill it out and then post it to them.

WTF?

We still use a fax machine at work. Not often, it's true, but it does get used.

We have a fax server at work. It's a 75Mhz Pentium running some ancient version of Mandrake Linux, in 64Mb of memory with a 2Gb hard disk. It's been running since 2001 with just the occasional reboot due to power outages and moving the machine when we switched offices.

So long as it works, I really can't be bothered making a new one, but apparently we still need it once in a while!
