I remarked last night that I was planning to watch a movie about Stonehenge on SyFy and pondered how long it would be before they had a long shot of mountains in the background of Salisbury Plain.

About 25 seconds it would seem.

Now, I used to drive to the office via a route which took me past Stonehenge, and I don't recall any white peaked mountains at the time.

I'm also noticing the distinct lack of the A303 in the background which runs about 20 metres from the monoliths.

I mean, seriously, perhaps a LITTLE research SyFy?

Let me guess, Salisbury Plain looks an awful lot like the Pacific Northwest?

Funny thing. Last time I was on the A303, I didn't notice the snow capped mountains in the background and the acres of Conifers.

Oh, and they've now marshaled the response at "Salisbury Plain Primary School"

Could have been worse - at least they had "Primary" and not "Elementary"....

Actually, it would be nice if SyFy actually gave a shit about accuracy.

Or, indeed, anything vaguely connected with quality film-making.
