We just met a deadline - not a major one, but we had agreed to ship X this afternoon and ship we did.  And, given that N has been working till 3am+ for the last few nights I thought the least the company could do was take him out.  So up to 15th we wandered.

We were late getting out.  Between last minute bugs and all the rest we didn't actually get what we needed to be done, done until 8:30...

Anyway, we ended the evening in rather spectacularly weird fashion in a new bar up on 15th where their stchik is showing movies and the like.  Having watched a series of 1960s adverts and, may I say, man did you USians have cool toys in the 60s, the barman overhead a discussion on the merits of Jennifer Connoley and Labyrinth.  So he put it on.

Wow.

Well, firstly, I had assumed that she was older than me.  I was wrong - she's younger, which makes me feel old.

Secondly, I have to get the movie out on DVD and watch it again for the fun.

ANyway, seriously - she's 2 years younger than me?  She was 16 when they made Labyrinth?  Bollocks?

On a similar note - I found out tonight that Nichola Bryant (Peri) from Dr Who was born in 1964 which is scary on account of her cleavage being a fairly significant part of my early teens and the realisation she's only 4 years old than me.  I was even more freaked out to find that Sophie Aldred is older than her.

The internet isn't necessarily your friend.

Glad you made the deadline andare able to relax a bit afterwards.

> Peri

That way lies madness.

I can't say I'm surprised by Nicola Bryant, as she was married when she started with Dr. Who.

Sophie Aldred, though - blimey! I always thought she was quite young, not a decade older than me..

I must admit that I didn't realise that she was that old, or older than, say Nichola Bryant who I was surprised at being that young.

Those '60s ads sound like fun. What's the name of the bar?

"The Bar" - its on 15th near the Hopvine.

Worth an excursion - they're part of a Pizza restaurant.
