Never off the clock...
Nov. 18th, 2012 03:05 pm... I spent Friday working on a deck for a new product we've developed which is going live with our initial customer shortly. I sent out the deck for review and got quick response from one of our advisors. He's normally good at this stuff, much better than I am. But his response has me perturbed.
My problem is I don't particularly like the approach he's suggested, but, for the life of me, I don't know why I don't like it.
It's an annoying thing. I know from experience the best thing to do is leave it ruminating in the back of my mind over night, and come back to it tomorrow when I've discussed it with another board member. Trouble is, it's just niggling at my forebrain and I can't seem to let go. I'll have to see if I can persuade the wife to let me play video games for a bit and see if that helps me.
It's important to me to get this right as it's our first bonefide product where we have a pricing plan and it requires minimal development and set up, plus we've already got a paying customer and this suggests there will be more.
Still, I don't like knowing why something is ringing alarm bells and it's bugging the crap out of me.
