Weird Things About Friends

I had pizza and beer with a friend this evening.  I discovered interesting things about Bill.

Bill is a medical person...  he does cardiac care stuff now.  But in his younger days he would go drinking with Richard Feynman and Edmund Teller at parties that his friends had.

He also lived in the building they used for the exterior shots of Punky Brewster.

He also worked as a lab assistant to the LA County Coroner upon whom they based Quincy...  interestingly, it being the 1970s, they had to make the character white and give him an Asian lab assistant whereas 'Tom' the county coroner at the time was Japanese American but he did live on a boat in Marina Del Ray.

Kinda cool really.
