Upcoming Sporting Event PSA / Help
Aug. 29th, 2011 03:18 pmSo, having "won" "exclusive" rights to the Rugby World Cup, NBC Universal are translating that into showing 10 out of the 48 games live even though the games would pretty much all be off-peak schedule times.
DirecTV want to have your arm, leg and a liver to watch the games in your own home.
However, it appears that in the Seattle Area the following are showing all the matches live:
Kangeroo and Kiwi (Australian and New Zealand bar) - Green Lake
Fado (Irish[ish]) - Pioneer Square
George and Dragon (English) - Fremont
I'm interested to know if people know of any other bars who are willing to show the matches. It looks like they're going to get rolled on the fees so it's likely to involve cover charges I suspect.
