Last night, I met up with a potential customer/client who'd recently moved to Seattle.  We embraced the presence of hand pulled beer served at a moderately correct temperature for a bitter - room temperature isn't actually what people think it is... anyway, while sitting down, M popped in for a bite and to say hello and while we were doing so fen arrived.  So I got to meet the current TAFF delegate and Fringefann of this parish...

So, significantly more beer was consumed than expected, and I can comfortably report to the audience that there was, perhaps, a little more live yeast in the beer than my stomach was prepared to process.

Hopefully normal service will be restored as soon as possible.

I've made burgers for our BBQ tomorrow, and I've got the makings of mexican crispy pork tacos for tonight.

Rumour has it we're going to go to the gym tonight after M finishes work.

I am not expecting this will happen.

Apple have approved the updated iPhone App.  This is supported by any device which can run iOS 4.X - we found an unexpected compiler error on the 3.X builds and we don't have time to get that approved by Apple before the convention :(

OTOH - based on what we've seen on our 1st and 2nd Gen iPod Touch test units, it wouldn't be all that much fun anyway.

This has several major bug fixes:
- "hung on splash screen" crash
- screen rotation causes a UI glitch
- This version will run on Verizon iPhone 4 devices

We've got a lot of improvements and notes for the future which we'll be taking into consideration in future versions.

Here's a link to the App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/renovation/id453623856?ls=1&mt=8

So, no sooner have we got the new version of the app out but we get reports that while it's installing on 4.2.8 just fine, some devices with 4.2.1 are throwing the error "This app requires 4.3 to install" WTF?

We set the minimum iOS spec to 3.X...  IT SHOULD JUST WORK!

Grrrrr....

Anybody "friendly" out there with an iPhone 3G could you let me know?
