I Can Haz Kindlez
So I got the Kindle 2. I've been thinking about it on and off for a while now but I didn't see the point, besides the waiting list for the Kindle 1 was enormous and, secondly, it was ugly.
The Kindle 2 is available now, and a lot better looking.
First impressions... well, actually pretty good. I've downloaded a bunch of out of copywrite stuff that I've been meaning to catch up on for years - Complete Sherlock Holmes, Jules Verne, The Lost World and a few other things, all of which have appeared on the device as it arrived.
So, a long charge for it, and then a lot more playing. But as a solution to my issue of buying "disposable" books for flights, this seems extremely good so far.
