Network RAID drives

Ok, so my 1TB Western Digital Media store is dying.  There are a couple of issues here.  (a) actually it's a piece of crap, and (b) it's really a piece of crap.  It's slow, drops of the network without warning and generally is a pain to use.

So, having a bonus come my way I'm think of a serious 1-2TB RAID network solution.  What should I get?
