Hello, My Name is Seat 21J

I reside on a British Airways 777 Aircraft and I'm not feeling well.  I know that I wasn't very well last time you flew Mr O and that you mentioned it to the flight crew, but basically my foot rest is still buggered and my tray table is configured to dump your tray in your lap.  On the other hand, I've been in the same state for several trips now, so take note of me and use me for your future in flight upgrade needs...

Actually, I was pretty annoyed because they really didn't want to do much except placate me about the foot rest, which I could have lived with I guess.  Then dinner came and I pulled out the table which flopped into my lap in front of the flight crew who glared at it, looked at me and said, "I know exactly what you're thinking sir, I'm really sorry."

Then his boss came, looked at the table, looked at me and uttered the words I have come to love.  "Why don't you sit in Club instead sir?"

In Club, they had nice food, a glass of Champagne waiting and a bed for the night.

Of course, I still have 4 hours in Gatwick.  I must have a horrible Karmic debt.

In other news, BA are now serving something other than the Lasagne on the Seattle run.  The Salmon, the 2 bites I had before the Purser removed it and insisted I ate Club food was actually pretty good.

Furry 5K

We survived, although the dog did appear to be largely dead when I left for the airport yesterday along with him Mummy who was lying pack like on the floor with him in the sun.  Actually he seems to quite like this and is extremely calm when humans behave like that and stop trying to do things to him.

In the end we did the full 5K, plus another 2K up and down the hill from where I had to park.  Afterwards we had food in Norm's in Fremont where they could be said to be "dog friendly".
