Another Day, Another Crisis...
Jan. 31st, 2007 12:48 pmWell, having moved out here our relationship lurches from crisis to crisis - at least I'm here to work on things in real time. I brought in some management big guns yesterday to try and fix some of the problems so we'll see. Prep for 3GSM continues full pace. My meeting schedule actually doesn't look too bad at the moment, but I've not got all the meetings scheduled yet. I've currently got wall to wall 8am to midnight activities for Monday, Tuesday is free in the morning, Wednesday is pretty much free and Thursday is at 50%.
On the home front things are getting more settled. I've got the home office set up today. There's nobody in the office and I had to go to the social security office this morning to apply for my Social Security Number. It was a slightly sureal experience, with the clerk asking me what was happening in Eastenders...
In general it was a pretty positive experience, my paperwork had been processed and she was able to issue an SSN. If I need it urgently they will be able to tell me it next week, alternatively it should arrive in the mail in about 10 days.
