Final Countdown

Thanks to all who showed up to say bye to us at Ms meal she organised. Bar Shu is a fairly odd venue and the food is amazingly hot, so some more thanks to those who don't like hot food but managed to find things to eat. Had a near miss with losing my phone on the way home, but it appeared that M had secreted it in her bag.
Saturday dawned late and we had some chores. A run to Waitrose and Homebase to get some things. I have to touch up some of the paintwork around the flat, so we needed paint brushes. pmcmurrayturned up to help with our lockers. He's taken the remaining bits from the small locker, which is now empty, everything else is in the main locker. On reflection, there's actually a hell of a lot less than 10m^3 in there, I'd guess its more like 6, which would bring the shipping costs under two grand.
I'll probably dump a few banana boxes of old paperbacks, and M wants us to have a half day in there and make sure that everything left is (a) well packed and (b) worth shipping. We'll then set up the shipping for the weekend before we leave. Next stop, US Embassy early tomorrow morning.
