Paris

Had a fun weekend in Paris with M and friends, a little insane, in that I met M at LHR where she had arrived from NYC and then left her back at LHR where she was catching a return flight, to be in work today.

Had some excellent food, some fine wine, and the usual hell at Charles De Gaule, which really must be up there in the world all-comers bad airport championship.  The experience was made worse by French government insistence that ALL hand luggage had to be searched, all phones turned on and off, all electronics demonstrated, all liquids given up etc...

Much worse, in fact, than Heathrow where it took me 1 hour to get checked in and through security on Saturday.

Got a lot to do this week; tomorrow 7.30am meeting in Bracknell, followed by a 10am in Reading.  Then Thursday I'm flying to Copenhagen.  I've a day of interviews on Friday in Copenhagen and Malmo, followed by a flight home.  Then Saturday I'm off to NYC and Seattle for 2 weeks.

Looks like I'm going to spend the weekend of the 9th in the Bay Area.
