Busy Few Days...
Jun. 27th, 2006 09:35 amOff to a meeting in Reading in a minute, via the dry cleaner.
Meeting in Reading until 12, then off to Bath for 2 con calls and a company meeting, followed by drinks with the team, then drinks with friends. Hopefully it will be not dry and I can be spared the horror of the Boater beer garden. When this was mooted by younger pre-30 former co-worker Geoff, my response was thus: "It's alright for you Geoff, but Andy and I are pushing 40, are we actually *allowed* in the Boater?" - Andy replied, "well, at least we can pass for somebodies dad, Geoff will just look creepy."
Tomorrow morning I've meetings in Bath, then back to London. I'm in London tomorrow night if anybody wants to meet up for food/drink. M is at the Pet Shop Boys with her friend Steven, who is, for various, probably obvious reasons, much more of a PSB fan than I - although he does want to meet for a drink afterwards to assure me that he has absolutely no desires upon my wife :) We have to be nice, his boyfriend owns a hotel in Italy!
Then Thursday, day, I'm working from home. Then evening we're flying to Dubai. Yay!
