A fun thread from many of the same characters, including an early, "is Fandom getting Old" subthread.
The most amusing thing for me was this exchange:

This could work if the hotel booking is worked out centrally? Part of the
issue is people not wanting to have nowhere to go through the night, post
2AM, perhaps if there were 3 hotels? From B&B to more expensive, with one
as the main option? That might allow cohesion - still, it puts a lot more
work on the committee.

It looks like the protest is starting and I'm watching my friend's list slowly vanish.
