Odds and Sods
May. 1st, 2006 04:40 pmWent to Bath for the weekend and only stayed a day. We did have a great night out with friends, and we had a fantastic lunch at the Bath Priory... (sat at a table next to Simon Callow too). But at the end of the day, M and I decided we'd rather head home.
So we came back and watched Doctor Who. I liked it. Dealing with the question of the people he's left behind is overdue for the show. There are some short stories dealing with the topic, but it was nice to see it handled that well. And, being a child of the early 70s, it was great to see Sarah Jane Smith back.
Today has been relaxed. Caught up with The Apprentice - smiled at the result, perhaps a bit too much.
Then packed my bags for tomorrow and have spent the last hour copying TV and Movies over to my laptop for the trip.
Last job will be packing a briefcase. I always plan to travel light and never quite manage it. The 110 minute change I have to do at LAX means I need to carry hand luggage only, so I've deliberately only packed 5 days of clothes for a 10 day trip. I'll be using the laundry in Vegas.
I'm also planning to attend a Vegas Fan meet to which I've been invited.
Anyway, sadly I have some work to do now to prep for the rest of the week and then dinner to cook.
Off to LA at 16:05 tomorrow.
