Busy busy...
Apr. 3rd, 2006 12:36 pmM is still not well. Specialist isn't worried though, which I'll take as a good thing. He's asked for an Ultrasound just to double check, but he thinks that the pain will subside over time. That will be good, she's been unhappy the last couple of weeks. :(
Work is driving me insane. The office politics over the last few weeks have reached Vogon proportions. One of the managers seems to be playing a rather intricate game of chess with us, not noticing that we've been playing Risk - not sure how that will pan out, but I suspect there will be blood on the carpet at the end of the day, and I'm bloody sure it isn't going to be mine. Then, today, I had 30 minutes to get my expenses claim in and had a whinge from the senior admin about the format I presented them in. Well SOORRR_REEHH! Perhaps, in that case, you can provide admin support for this chore.
There seems to be a feeling that expenses are some kind of perk. No, they are not. They are money that you lend your tight employer so that they don't have to give you a company credit card.
Anyway, enough ranting.
Got to get ready for the flight tomorrow. Now I have a laptop again and it's almost set up. I can start working on replacing the important stuff I lost, like my Noise Cancelling Headphones, iPod and a bunch of other stuff.
