Irish Passports...
Mar. 30th, 2006 03:59 pmI've been looking into getting an Irish passport and have, once more, obtained the forms from the Irish Consulate in London. It looks like I can get my photo's authorised by somebody at Eastercon which just leaves the small matter of my father's birth certificate.
We've got it, in fact, Mum showed it to me on Sunday. However, it is from 1925 and it's in terrible shape. So, a quick call and I've established for €12 I can get a replacement from the Registrar's office in Limerick. Of course, it isn't that straight forward. I will have to issue them with a cheque in Euro's drawn on an Irish bank...
Alternatively, there's another department who take credit cards. I think I'll do that.
Anyway, it will be handy to have another one.
