So, basically, the internal USB and PCI slot don't have the guts to power the dual tuner, so for the second tuner to function you have to run an external USB cable from the back of the card to a handy USB port...

Yeah... ummm...

Over on Rand Simberg's blog, there's a rare interesting and non-political thread about aircraft seats and windows.

I like an aisle seat and I like extra legroom. I am prepared to pay for, and have done so, extra legroom on aircraft.
