Feb. 21st, 2006 12:17 pmDeposit paid, solicitor formally instructed to exchange. Will call me when it's all done. She was at pains to point out that the moment the contracts are exchanged the deal becomes legally binding.
She has confirmed we will complete the sale next Tuesday 28 Feb.
So, I'll be a home owner again.
EEEKKK!!!!!

Eastercon - All Go Here eh?
Feb. 21st, 2006 02:09 pmWell, that's Eastercon sorted. I realised that I needed to book some travel and have just booked flights to compliment my hotel booking of a few weeks back.
Pleasantly surprised for flying on BA with a total of £90 return including all the taxes. I'd be pressed to do it on the train for that much and now Chez O'Neill is going to be on a direct line to Heathrow, life is going to be pretty easy for getting to the airport, at least compared to now.
Starting to look forward to it.
M has declaired that rather than go to a con in Glasgow, she'll be doing some girly spa thing with Lisa her current flatmate. I tried to persuade them to come along but something told me that it wasn't Lisa's cup of tea.

By Request: Crap for Sale
Feb. 21st, 2006 10:45 pmBefore I hit eBay, the neighbours and anybody else I can think of. Here's a small selection of stuff for sale. Of course, it can be picked up in Bath or if anybody is interested we could arrange something for the day we move the crap to London in March.
- 3 piece suite: Dead comfy but sadly too large for the flat
- Upright freezer: About 4.5 cubic feet would fit under a standard unit
- At some point soon we'll have a washing machine to get rid of
- Large garden table: would seat 8 easily and we have done
- Gas BBQ with cylinder
- random selection of shelving units: some Billy bookcases and Pine Shelves
I think that's pretty much it for the big stuff. I've 2 MP3 players to off load, but I'll probably eBay them...
- Brand New 6BG Sony Walkman (not needed due to Nanos)
- 256MB Lyra MP3 player with FM radio and slot for SD card
If I think of anything else I'll mention it.
