Took yesterday and today off which has been quite nice, and having some "decompress" time as my USian friend's say.
Yesterday was M's birthday but she had to work, so I had a lay in, a leisurely bacon sandwich and coffee while reading the paper and then into Leicester Square to watch Serenity. Not bad, I could live with the bad science, it was nice to see glorious technicolour skify tropes on the big screen. Had a couple of drinks while wandering from the West End to the City, then over to Bayswater for M's birthday dinner - a greek at the Aphrodite. Certainly one to recommend, although, as always with Greek food, we ordered far far far too much.
Soft start this morning and a gradual crawl back to Bath where I have done battle with the evil that is O2. They've been setting their credit agency onto me over a non-debt. Words were exchanged. I'm now waiting to see if they want me to stay as a customer. Currently, it looks like a no...
I am also planning on doing some house work, having a nice coffee and perhaps a slice of toast.
It's the simple things eh?
