Yawn... Morning...
Apr. 12th, 2005 02:57 pmI slept well. Better than usual actually even though the journey was dreadfully long. Although BA turned off the inflight entertainment 10 minutes before the end of the Peter Sellers biopic I had been watching.
I guess I'll have to wait until next week, or the week after then ;)
I seem to now have an entry/exit profile for the US that INS people find boring. Even at SFO where I've had a dreadful time in the past and they were making life miserable for people ahead of me the guy was more interested in how hard it flying all the time than what I was actually doing in the USA.
At security for the domestic flight Andy and I got "selected" for special attention which involved a pretty thorough check. But that is the first time it's happened to me in about 8 flights, so I shouldn't complain. It was actually quite good natured.
The pilot on the SFO-SEA leg seemed to think he was flying a fighter rather than a 737 which made for an interestingly agressive takeoff but at least we're here now. Time for a workout in the gym, a spot of breakfast and a day of beating my head against the walls in Redmond.
Ah! Such is life.
Tonight I will be seeing Seattle fandom and some LJ names I know.
