One of the things about the Huygens Lander that doesn't seem to have quite got the press attention is this is really a world and it's the first time we've really seen the surface of an alien one like this. Mars has some stunning vistas but I don't think it has quite the impact of the views from Huygens as it drifted down through the atmosphere. Here is an animation based on a selection of pictures taken by Huygens as it fell through the atmosphere from 150km up.
First there's just clouds and then land appears and the dark patches that look like liquid.
This is somewhere we really need to head back to.
