Note to Self:
Nov. 22nd, 2004 11:09 amDo not go to the Movies on a Sunday Afternoon. *sigh* ok, I expected children, after all we saw the Incredibles. I did not expect parents to bring babies, yes, fed from bottles, cry all the time, bored, babies.
I did expect parents to say "Ssshhh" occasionally and not leave it to the rest of us to silence their off-spring. I didn't enjoy the following exchange.
"Mummy, is Mr Incredible incredible?"
"Yes dear, he is."
"Mummy, is Mr Incredible going to be incredible?"
"Yes dear, he is going to be incredible."
"Mummy, when is Mr Incredible going to be incredible?"
And so on until a bunch of people tore them to pieces. Ahem, well, actually no, they didn't - but we wanted to.
In the morning we went back to the RSPCA and a Staffordshire Terrier Cross took me for a 4 mile walk. A surprisingly gentle dog considering what it looked like.
