Thunderbirds are...
Jul. 19th, 2004 11:10 am...go(ish).
Went to see the movie yesterday, dragging a protesting M with me. Thunderbirds is not part of her childhood as it is mine (Hmmm... actually, given that RSA didn't get TV until 1976 and that they weren't allowed *any* BBC programmes, we don't have a lot of TV in common from our youth). However, she has watched most of the TV series and agreed that it was all good fun and nothing to get worked up about.
I've been looking forward to the movie for a while, the trailer looked good, the machines perfect, Frakes is a reasonably competant director. However, FAB1 was not a Rolls and Gerry Anderson was definately not involved...
( What did we make of that? (maybe some mild spoilers) )
