I've done it. I've put the house on the market.
Eekk... my last physical tie with the North West about to be severed.
If anybody would like a 2 bedroom house in Central Preston with yard, Gas Central Heating, 2 reception rooms and so forth, get in touch.
Frankly, I can't see the property prices being sustainable and I need the money. I can, at least in theory pay off all outstanding debts, get a newer car and still have a base deposit for something elsewhere in the country.
I've formally served notice on the tenants, who I do feel a bit sorry for, but they have until 23 September to be out, and got a number of estate agents to value the place for me. Currently they are saying that £75K should not be unreasonable.
Urp! Last time I tried to flog it £27K was the best offer I got.
