Weekend Fun...
Jul. 5th, 2004 10:25 amFriday watched Shrek 2, I enjoyed it more than the first, if only for the really silly movie and tv gags.
Saturday - went to the gym, read the papers, watched some TV. A friend sent us a bunch of TV stuff on DVD and we've started watching Monk which I like, a lot. Adrian Monk is a former detective who, after the murder of his wife, had a nervous breakdown. Since recovering he's been afflicted with a rather bad case of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) - Tony Shaloub (the engineer from Galaxy Quest) is excellent in the role and it's certainly a fans show.

drpete's birthday drinks. Met camies who I've seen at Cons but we've never actually spoken. There were other LJ people there too but I didn't take a roll call.
Left Dr. Pete with a bottle of Insanity sauce, I have another bottle forflyingsauce which I must send soon. And left Advil for Liam Proven.
Bought 2 books for £3... generally a good weekend.
