Sun, Sea and Freezing Winds...
Feb. 28th, 2004 12:05 pmThe last 3 or 4 trips to Cannes for 3GSM have been hard work but at least you could sit out in the afternoon sun of the Med and have a nice drink. This trip the temperatures stayed well below double figures with a blisteringly cold wind howling down from the mountains. Just not nice.
The show itself, well, actually I can't really say. I didn't get a chance to see much of it - I had a lot of meetings. Generally all good. There's some stuff that went down which is going to take a couple of weeks to pan out - but all things seem that they could be working the right directions.
The only problem is, that an event like 3GSM is like a convention, only instead of being with people you get on with, you're with co-workers. The earliest night was 1.15am. Some nights we think were post 4 - it was hard to say.
I now feel pretty unwell.
*sigh*
Winchester on Monday, London Tuesday, London Friday.
