The Sun has got his hat on...

Ummm... well, it *is* sunny and I'm theoretically on holiday this week (meaning I am working tomorrow) but today has been computer games and beer and very very very anti-diet crisps.

I have a train ticket for Eastercon. The Technobabble Quiz is nominally written, although I still need a team member (anybody?) and tonight I see a country pub over looking the Westbury White Horse and a cooling pint of some ale.

While some aspects of work have gone tits up while I've been off, in that the client seems to think that we should pay them to let our engineers solve their coms problems - others have worked well. Thanks to BA's bizzare travel rules, its cheaper for the company to send my beloved M on a business trip to Seattle with me than fly me home before the weekend. So we're getting a long weekend away together. Yay!

Spent most of the afternoon playing MS Freelancer. Well, Elite it ain't.

Yesterday I fitted a DVD Rom to the PC which is rapidly turning into our full time media and entertainments centre, especially now the PC and TV are connected. Its very very good. Now we can watch my "From the Earth to the Moon" DVD Box Set.

I cannot fathom US TV scheduling - I am suffering from a severe Buffy withdrawal - when are they going to start broadcasting again!!!!! Arghh!!!!!

Is it so hard to stick to a weekly schedule?

EDIT: Buffy has been found... excellent episode title too "Dirty Girls"... Ummm... I really ought not to speculate.


Oh, and I take back what I just said. I'm quite enjoying the Bangles now :-)
