Lazy Sunday Afternoon
Apr. 1st, 2003 10:37 amI had a quite relaxed weekend, which went on through my day off yesterday (only the 2nd of the year, which means I still haven't started to use this years holiday allowance)...
Did the garden, cleaned the BBQ, cleaned the garden furniture, planted some plants, hacked ineffectually at the Ivy the owner planted years ago. This time last year we hadn't even looked at the garden, when I did, we took 40 full sacks of cuttings out. The place was a jungle. Its only a yard, but somebody planted a bunch of full size trees - not wise. Its much tidier now.
Watched the Rugby - sadly not the match I wanted to watch. I was hoping to watch the one where either side wins by an unexpected drop goal or a surprise try in the last minute of play - apparently that was last weekend :-(
Shame for Ireland, I thought they really might be able to do it.
