If he treats the workers of country A (USA) as President the way he treats the workers of company X as CEO (fire them from positions of employment, do not give them severance or support, only hire them back if they work for much less) then I think the analogy is sustainable. All you have to do is not think of the workers of the nation as part of the nation. Think of them as a collection of people who are just physically within the borders of the nation.
