Anticipation!

I finally got off my arse and booked today.

Membership - easy enough.

Hotel - hummed and ahhed about this for a while.  I finally decided to go for a single room at the Party hotel.  Why?  Well, frankly, because I can :)

Travel - it seems that the Seattle-Montreal options are a tad limited and you end up changing planes somewhere.  Anyway, having a LOT of Alaska miles I decided for the route through Atlanta on Delta with the SEA-ATL leg in First with a connection to Montreal.  So, I'm all signed up, hotel is booked and travel is locked and loaded.  

I know that I was being put forward for a talk, I guess, now that I'm going I'd better volunteer for some other stuff.

Seattle-Montreal via Atlanta? That might be the cheapest/most comfortable set of routes, but it doesn't seem very *direct*. Wouldn't you flying via Toronto or Vancouver be quicker?

It isn't very direct but the direct routes didn't seem to save all that much time and were very expensive, oh, and involved flying Air Canada.

It's not good. Not as bad as some, but it's not high on my preference list.
