Jekyl - finally finished this last night. Generally liked it, James Nesbit certainly put in something of a tour de force there. I had suspected the ending and there was certainly room for a sequel. Overlong in 6 parts (in my opinion), could have done it in 4. Oh dear gods was Nina Bellingham as dreadful as I imagined? Thoughts?
Greek - new teen American fluff about Fraternities and Sororities. Brain dead TV but fun. Worth a look.
Burn Notice - freelance agent gets "burned" and dumped in Miami where he takes up freelance security work. A kind of cross between the Equalizer and the A Team. Plus points - Bruce Campbell as the side kick - always GVM; minus points - Gabrielle Anwar's "Oirish" accent. FFS - Gabrielle Anwar as a former IRA hit person? Give me a bleedin' break will yer! Fortunately she has now moderated her accent to bad which is several notches down from bloody awful.
Saving Grace - Hmmm... US TV does has a fixation with angels doesn't it. So far, so average - ok filler for the PVR on quiet nights.
Big Love - really enjoying this so far, Season 2 is a little soapy, but generally the characters are settling down better and the back story is filling in nicely.
Eureka (season 2) - feels more "solid" than Season 1. There's more menace being hinted at, and a lot more intrigue. Ok, so I know it's fluffy dreck, but I like fluffy dreck.
Stuff I just didn't get:
Dresden Files - I just read the first book and liked it, so I'm really considering trying this again. I watched half of one episode and gave up.
Painkiller Jane - I've tried 3 episodes and it just doesn't work for me.
Anything else I should be trying on either side of the pond?
