Quite a weekend...

Friday evening I went out for some cocktails and to look in awe at the big, hot, glowing thing in the sky.

Saturday, collected our friends from the airport and then went to a party.

Sunday, bright and early were up and off to have a Seaplane flight.  A little windy but an otherwise great flight.  Saw our house from the air, flew around the space needle then over the city centre over Lake Washington, pass Bill's place and then over UW campus for landing back on Lake Union.  In the afternoon we took them for a drive out to North Bend and Snoqualmie.

Sunday evening finally got around to watching Doctor Who - actually I really really enjoyed that one.  Much fun.

Now I have a cold, caught from M who caught it from Dereck our house guest.

YEUCK.  Sore throat and my nose is starting to dribble.  Might work from home today.

We missed you at Fans With Bheers, but if you're incubating a cold, it's just as well you didn't join us.

They've put Old Rasputin on the nitro tap at Third Place, making it an incredibly dangerous pub to drink at. Most of us switched to water for the second and third drink.

Yes, it was a combination of the nascent cold, and visitors from foreign parts who were showing the sights to.

I'm planning to be there in May.
