Website Wrangling... we hates it...
Mar. 13th, 2013 07:03 pmI need to change a few things on our website, which in and of itself isn't much of a chore. Our CMS is pretty functional even for a person with my specialist skills in breaking CSS and HTML by looking at them. OTOH - part of the design will call for a slideshow of 4 slides which cover our 4 main product groups.
I know what needs to be on them, but I'll be buggered if I can do them.
Time to look at freelancers and the like. I've a fairly clear idea of what I need, so it should be hard nor expensive... except both of those seem to be at odds with my experience of dealing with designers.
One of the things we're aiming to do now that we're getting steady cash flow, is go in 50/50 with a partner company on a full time designer... because frankly, we need so many things mocking up or putting together we don't have the time to not have a designer.
