Reality makes me sad...

I tend to have 'news' television on in the background when I'm working.

I've also been watching News Night on HBO - the new Aaron Sorkin show.

The problem is watching News Night makes me long for British news television.  Even watching MSNBC, the supposed 'left wing' channel discuss the Romney Bain thing is just dreadful.  No real come back, no thrusting questions, no confrontation.

FFS people this is meant to be news, no, come on our show and we'll let you say what you like without really pushing back too hard in case we upset somebody.

While I'm on it...

Doesn't anybody find it odd that American 'News' television doesn't actually have to carry any news?

Just watched the Romney interview...

So... just so we're clear, while you remained CEO and single share holder, you didn't take any role, nor interest in, nor direct ANY aspect of the company in which you are still CEO and single share holder?  You didn't take part in any review calls, didn't read ANY reports on investments, status reports or anything like that even though you were still CEO and share holder?

You sir are lying.  I refuse to believe that you were that hands off unless you were stunningly incompetent as as a CEO and, frankly, looking at the money you made doing it, I find that highly unlikely.
